Our salon staff have styled many pixie cuts, and the biggest mistake we see? People treat them like longer styles. A pixie needs its own approach. When styling, I work with the natural growth pattern – fighting against it just creates more work and uses more product.
For that sleek finish, I use a tiny amount of smoothing serum (seriously, less than a pea-size) warmed between my palms. Then I smooth it over the hair, following the natural direction. A quick pass with a fine-tooth comb, and you’re done. The whole process takes three minutes, tops.
